Born in Königsdorf, Austria, Lukas Boandl is one of the country's top golfers and a graduate of Rice University (Class of 2026). He has represented Austria internationally and gained experience on the DP World Tour, Challenge Tour, Pro Golf Tour, and Alps Tour as an amateur.
After four seasons with the Rice Owls, including three collegiate tournament wins, PING All-Central Region honors, and a share of the program's career-wins record, Lukas was crowned 2026 Austrian National Champion and is turning professional to begin his career on tour.
